The move to a new workplace for Brunel was an undertaking that illustrated the company’s commitment to nurturing staff culture and connection within the physical environment. Inspired by challenge, we needed to meet a strict timeline and limited budget. This required a strong and united drive between client, builder and design team.
The brief required us to align with Brunel’s global branding criteria, also linking the mining industry and the company’s passion for international yacht racing. Fortunately for us, yellow is their feature colour—who doesn’t love playing with yellow?
Connectivity, fun and value were delivered parallel to the three key pillars of people, place and technology. The design encourages connectivity of people and place through views across the floorplate, use of colour, graphics and flawless integration of technology.
