The City of Busselton’s new Civic Administration Offices required us to capture their desired identity, build a design narrative and develop a strategy to embed into the built environment.
Driven by the diversity of the surrounding natural environment, MKDC evolved the design concept through conducting workshops with the CEO and councillors to create a strong sense of place.
The resulting key design principals modelled diversity and encouraged collaboration between the different departments by using eclectic furniture selections and creating unique micro-destinations within the wider workplace.
This project was completed in collaboration with JCY and MCG Architects.
